OperationIT.com Sponsors The Paul Annacone Tennis Classic

- Tournament Supports The Robert F. Kennedy Memorial, Meals on Wheels and Local Charities -

NEW YORK, NY – August 24, 2000 – Until this week, Jim Ivon, CEO for OperationIT.com, was just your average weekend warrior on the tennis court. That changed this past Sunday and Monday, August 20–21, when OperationIT.com was the major corporate sponsor for the Paul Annacone Tennis Classic 2000 in East Hampton, New York. Sporting tennis whites and somewhat nervous strokes, Mr. Ivon played in the tournament’s Men’s Doubles Pro/Am Calcutta with partner and Devon Club pro, Tim Snell. The pair was one of 30 pro/am teams competing in the doubles tournament, which, along with other celebrity supported events, benefited the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial, Meals on Wheels and local charities.

“OperationIT.com is proud to be the major corporate sponsor for this year’s Paul Annacone Tennis Classic,” said Mr. Ivon. “This year’s beneficiaries are all noted charities that deserve support from local business and community organizations.”

The Paul Annacone Tennis Classic started two years ago as a result of a conversation between Annacone, Pete Sampras’s coach, and his close friend since childhood, Scott Rubenstein, managing partner at EHIT. The Robert F. Kennedy Memorial, which supports programs to help the disadvantaged and oppressed in different parts of the world, was added as a beneficiary this year.
